Honor Magic6 Pro coming soon with a great 160MP camera, great performance that challenges the Galaxy S23 Ultra
According to Digital Chat Station, the Honor Magic6 Pro will feature a 160MP periscope zoom camera, not 200MP as previously leaked. In addition, the main camera will use a 1/1.3-inch sensor, which is the same size as the Galaxy S23 Ultra's 200MP main sensor.
This OV50K sensor is capable of producing sharp images and enhanced details thanks to the integrated capacitor-based LOFIC CMOS technology, similar to the sensor in the Xperia 1 V and the OPPO Find N3.
Honor Magic6 Pro is expected to launch with Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which offers the "greatest" performance on Android, surpassing even the current "king of Android phones" Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Previously, Honor CEO Zhao Ming confirmed that the upcoming Honor Magic6 series will support satellite communication like the iPhone 15. However, in addition to sending SMS, the phone also allows users to make satellite calls.
Zhao Ming said that instead of a chipset that supports satellite connectivity, the company has developed its own technology. Honor also claims to offer the leading stable and energy-efficient satellite connection solution currently.
